Real Madrid head into Sunday’s derby against Atlético (4.15pm CET).
The squad trained for the first time this week at Real Madrid City as they begin preparations for the LaLiga matchday 26 game against Atlético at the Wanda Metropolitano stadium (Sunday, 4:15pm CET). The session was held under strict health protocol in place due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The starters from the match against Real Sociedad ran on the pitch before continuing their work inside the facilities.
The rest of the group did aerobic and anaerobic work before focussing on pressing and running with the ball circuits. The players then performed one-on-one and two-on-two drills with finishing in small goals. They finished with a small-sided game. Benzema and Sergio Ramos trained individually on the pitch and indoors, while Hazard and Carvajal continued with their recovery processes.
